Signals

Signals let you automatically monitor rows in your table for changes and events — such as job changes, promotions, company news, fundraising rounds, and new hires. Once set up, a signal runs on your chosen frequency and updates the signal column with the latest results. Signals are configured per table and are accessible directly from the table view.

Set up a signal

  1. Open the table you want to monitor.
  2. In the toolbar, click the signal icon (the broadcast/wave icon) to open the signal type dropdown.
  3. Choose the type of signal you want to set up from the list.
  4. Fill in the required fields in the configuration panel that opens on the right, then click "Save" to activate the signal.

What happens when a signal is saved

When you save a signal, a new table is automatically created containing a column named after your signal. This table will populate with results each time the signal runs according to its monitoring frequency. The signal table will appear in two places:

  • On the Signals page, which shows a dedicated list of all tables that have an active signal set up.
