Security

The Security page lets you manage the measures protecting your account — including updating your password and setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of login security.

  1. Click on the workspace name and icon in the top right corner.
  2. Choose the "Settings" option from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select "Security" from the left-hand menu under "My account".

Change password

You can update your account password at any time from the Security page. For best security, use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.

  1. Click the "New password" field and type your new password.
  2. Click the "Confirm new password" field and re-enter the exact same password.
  3. Click the "Change password" button to save the update. Make sure both fields match before submitting.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your account. Once enabled, you'll need both your password and a time-sensitive 6-digit code from an authenticator app to log in. We support app-based 2FA using apps like Google Authenticator or Authy.

Enable two-factor authentication

  1. On the Security page, click the "Enable" button under the "Two-factor authentication" section. This opens the 2FA setup popup.
  2. Open your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) on your phone and scan the QR code displayed in the popup to link it to your account.
  3. Can't scan the QR code? Use the text code instead.

    • In the popup, find the "Can't scan QR code?" section on the right side.
    • Copy the text code shown in the field by clicking the "Copy" button.
    • Open your authenticator app and manually enter the copied code to connect your account.
  4. Once your authenticator app is connected, it will display a 6-digit code. Enter that code into the "Code" field at the bottom of the popup.
  5. Click the "Enable" button to complete setup. Two-factor authentication is now active on your account.

Disable two-factor authentication

If 2FA is already enabled on your account, the "Two-factor authentication" section will show a red "Remove" button instead of "Enable". Removing 2FA means your account will no longer require a code from your authenticator app at login.

  1. On the Security page, click the "Remove" button under the "Two-factor authentication" section.
  2. You may be asked to verify your identity by entering the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
  3. After confirming, two-factor authentication will be disabled for your account.
